Hello!
Have you noticed that knitters either love to knit socks or they don't know how to knit socks?

Some knitters always have a sock ready to knit when they ride in a car, watch television or wait for an appointment. They knit other projects as well, but as soon as they finish one sock, they start another.

Then there are the knitters who say to me, "There's no way I could manage all those small needles and not have one of them slip out." "I could never learn to knit a heel."

I shouldn't admit this, but I'm in the second group. I have kept my family in slippers for over 20 years, but I have never knit a sock.

I've looked at sock patterns and thought, "I'm going to knit some socks someday."

Well, that day has arrived. After reading the Sock Savvy article by Joy Slayton, I decided the time is here. I agree with all her reasons for knitting socks, and I know her instructions are easy to follow.

If you haven't tried knitting socks before, we can try them together. If you are a sock knitter, you'll still learn a tip or two from Joy's article.

Happy Sock Knitting!
